Store Policies

Welcome to MB TECH PDX. We are a specialist supplier of genuine OEM Mercedes-Benz parts — every part we sell is sourced through authorized OEM channels and arrives in original Mercedes-Benz packaging. We do not stock or ship aftermarket parts.

Our goal is simple: get the right OEM part to the right vehicle, fast, and stand behind every order we ship.

What We Sell

MB TECH PDX exclusively sells genuine OEM Mercedes-Benz parts. We do not sell aftermarket, knockoff, or non-OEM substitutes. Every product page lists the OEM part number so you can cross-reference against your vehicle's documentation, dealer parts catalog, or VIN-based lookup.

If you have any doubt about whether a part is correct for your vehicle before ordering, please email us at contact@mbtechpdx.com with your VIN and we'll confirm fitment for you at no charge — it's much easier to get this right before we ship than to handle a return after.

Shipping Policy

Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. holidays. Most in-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days of order confirmation. If an item requires a special order from our OEM supplier, we'll email you with an updated timeline within one business day of your purchase, and you'll always have the option to cancel for a full refund if the timing doesn't work for you.

Carriers

We ship via UPS, FedEx, and USPS depending on size, weight, and destination. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Delivery time estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by MB TECH PDX.

Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before completing checkout — we ship to the address provided exactly as entered. We're happy to help correct an address if you catch a mistake before the label is generated; once the label has been printed, the carrier may charge an address-correction fee (typically $20+) which we'll pass through to the customer.

Risk of Loss

Once a package is handed to the carrier and a tracking number is issued, the package is in the carrier's care. We will always help you file a claim or trace a package, but MB TECH PDX is not responsible for carrier-side delays, mishandling, theft, or loss in transit.

Damaged in Transit

If your shipment arrives damaged, please contact us at contact@mbtechpdx.com within 5 business days of delivery and include:

  • Photos of the outer packaging
  • Photos of the damaged part
  • A photo of the shipping label
  • Your order number

We'll handle the carrier claim on our end and either replace the part or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer. Reporting promptly is important because carriers have strict claim windows; the sooner we know, the better we can take care of you.

Lost Packages

If tracking stalls or the carrier confirms a package is lost, contact us within 14 days of the last tracking update and we'll open a trace and work toward a resolution as soon as the carrier confirms the loss.

Marked "Delivered" but Not Received

If tracking shows delivered but you don't have the package, please first check with neighbors, household members, and your local carrier facility — packages occasionally get scanned early or left at a nearby address. If you still can't locate it, email us and we'll help you file a carrier investigation. For orders over $500 we automatically require signature on delivery to protect both sides.

Free Shipping Promotions

When free shipping is offered, MB TECH PDX selects the carrier and service level. Free shipping does not apply to oversize or freight items unless explicitly stated.

Return & Refund Policy

We want every customer to end up with the right part for their Mercedes-Benz, and we'll work with you in good faith to make that happen.

Return Window

Eligible returns must be requested within 30 calendar days of delivery, confirmed by carrier tracking.

What's Eligible for Return

A part is eligible for return if it is:

  • In brand-new, uninstalled, and unused condition
  • In its original, unopened OEM Mercedes-Benz packaging, with all factory seals and documentation intact
  • Showing no signs of attempted installation — including scuffed mounting surfaces, thread engagement, fluid contact, electrical pin marks, or residue

We understand the temptation to test-fit a part before committing, but please don't. Once a part has been installed or attempted to be installed, it can no longer be sold as new and we are not able to accept it for return. We make this determination based on inspection upon receipt and will document the condition with photos if a return is declined.

Final Sale Items

The following are not eligible for return:

  • Electrical components and electronic modules once removed from sealed OEM packaging
  • Special-order or custom-ordered parts
  • Items marked "Final Sale" or "Closeout" at time of purchase
  • Gift cards

Defective or Incorrect Parts

If a part arrives defective, or if we shipped you the wrong item, that's on us — please email contact@mbtechpdx.com within 5 business days of delivery with your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description. We will replace the part at no cost (including covering return shipping with a prepaid label) or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer.

How to Start a Return

Email contact@mbtechpdx.com with your order number and the reason for your return. We'll respond within one business day with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions. Please don't ship anything back without an RMA — unauthorized returns may be refused at our facility. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is the result of our error or a defective part.

Restocking Fee

A 15% restocking fee applies to approved returns that are not the result of an MB TECH PDX error or a defective product. There is no restocking fee on defective items or shipping errors on our end.

Refunds

Once your return is delivered to us and inspected (typically 3–5 business days), we'll email you a refund confirmation. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Per Shopify Payments, credit card refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement, with American Express typically posting in 3–7 business days depending on your billing cycle.

Order Cancellations

Need to cancel? No problem — as long as your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll cancel and refund in full. Once a tracking number has been generated, the order falls under the standard return policy above.

A Note on Chargebacks

If anything about your order isn't right, please reach out to us first at contact@mbtechpdx.com. We genuinely want to make it right, and the fastest path to a refund is usually a quick email — not a card dispute, which can take 30–90 days to resolve. Filing a chargeback for an issue we haven't been given a chance to address may be disputed with the documentation supporting these terms.

OEM Fitment & Installation

Because every Mercedes-Benz model has multiple sub-variants (chassis codes, engine codes, production-date splits, market-specific revisions), the customer is responsible for verifying that the OEM part number matches their specific vehicle before ordering.

The best way to do this is to cross-reference the OEM part number listed on our product page against your VIN through a Mercedes-Benz dealer or EPC catalog, or email us at contact@mbtechpdx.com with your VIN and we'll verify fitment for you before you order. Year/make/model fitment information shown on our site is provided for general reference and is not a substitute for VIN-based verification.

Professional Installation Recommended

OEM Mercedes-Benz parts are designed to be installed by qualified automotive technicians using factory procedures and torque specifications. Improper installation can damage the part, the vehicle, or surrounding components, and can void any applicable manufacturer warranty. The customer assumes responsibility for proper installation.

Warranty

Genuine OEM Mercedes-Benz parts carry the manufacturer's warranty as offered by Mercedes-Benz. Warranty terms, durations, and claim procedures are set by the manufacturer and apply directly between the customer and Mercedes-Benz. MB TECH PDX is happy to assist with documentation needed to support a warranty claim — just email us at contact@mbtechpdx.com with your order number.

Beyond the manufacturer's warranty, all parts are sold "as is." MB TECH PDX makes no additional express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MB TECH PDX's total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the purchase price paid for that product. MB TECH PDX is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost vehicle use, towing, rental costs, installation labor, diagnostic fees, damage to the vehicle or surrounding components, or any costs arising from product failure, fitment incompatibility, or installation error.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so portions of the above limitation may not apply to you. In those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Agreement

By placing an order with MB TECH PDX, you agree to these policies in full.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

Pricing & Errors

Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and may change without notice. In the event of a pricing or product description error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund, even after the order has been confirmed.

Order Acceptance

An order confirmation email is a receipt of your order, not an acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion prior to shipment, including for suspected fraud, unverifiable billing/shipping information, or limited inventory. If we cancel, you receive a full refund.

Indemnification

You agree to hold MB TECH PDX harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your installation, use, or misuse of any product, or from your violation of these terms.

Intellectual Property

All site content (text, photos, graphics, logos) is the property of MB TECH PDX or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Governing Law

These policies are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Multnomah County, Oregon.

Changes

We may update these policies from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and updated terms apply to orders placed after that date.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. We collect only the information needed to process your order, ship your parts, and provide customer support, and we never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
